Talk about a road trip! Fresh off the stage in Gananoque we were on the stage at RAXX in Kingston Sat. night. The crowds were not as large as they usually are due the the big blues festival downtown but by the second set the dance floor was full and the place was hopping.
Frances was there with her crew and we can't thank her enough for her support when we are at RAXX. A big thank you to Tracy from the Tracycally Hip Band for showing up and helping us party! We hear the Kingston stalkers were there as well ... one wonders if they will follow us on Sept. 11 dowtown to the other place ????
As alway a big thank you to the staff and management of RAXX for the wicked food and first class hospitality. We love RAXX !!!!!

Aug. 30 2010
We pulled into Gananoque and the weather was perfect for the 1000 Islands Family Boating Extravaganza. The stage was set up on the waterfront in Joel Stone Park and the boats were on display for Poker Runs America. We had a blast and the hospitality was second to none. Special thanks to Limestone Music from Kingston ON and to Marty for an excellent job we appreciated the quality sound and lights ! A big thank you to Jan G. for the big RV you set up for us behind the stage and as well for having us perform at the festival !
Gananoque really knows how to throw a party !!!!

Two jam packed nights of 80s rock & roll party music from Bon Jovi to Grease made for one of Ottawa's most happening places to be. The Heart & Crown in the heart of the Byward Market is just something you have to experience on your own. A couple hundred people all singing along to "Small Town Girl" errr I mean "Don't Stop Believing" is a most awesome thing!

Thanks to all the ladies who bought Daisy Train tank tops and hopefully we will see you at the next gig wearing them!

Special thanks to the staff and management of the H & C Byward Mkt. for helping us all feel at home. This venue is phenomenal in that dept. Large crowds that love to party make this one of our favourite venues to play at.

It goes without saying that we are so grateful for the people / fans that follow us from venue to venue. So whether you came to dance or just to listen it is always our intent to entertain a cross section of people with something for everyone. Your support is appreciated and it is the reason we do what we do. Thank You All !!

Fri. Aug 27 we are travelling down the 401 to Ganaoque ON. for the
" 1000 ISLANDS Family Boating Extravaganza" being billed as one of Ontario's most exciting waterfront events of the year. We will be headlining the festival on Friday night at 8:30 pm and are looking forward to bringing a kick ass show that is open to all ages ( one of our favourites to do ).

Sat. Aug 28 we will be pulling into Kingston @ RAXX on the big stage. The food, the people, and the stage are all great reasons to be there on the Sat. night. Hope to see you @ RAXX!!

YonderHill Campground ... what more can we say ... a home away from home ... a place filled with many friendly faces!
We had a blast playing for the large crowd at YonderHill. This was year number 5 for us and we have loved playing at this place.
The fun thing about these shows is that they are family shows so we get to ham it up for the kids and have them participate as well.
The damn Purple Monkey made it there as well and was caught hanging around in the rafters.

Special thanks goes out to the many familiar faces who came to the show and helped organize the evening and it goes without saying to Todd & Yolanda for having DaisyTrain back!
If you are looking for an awesome weekend or summer getaway with the family check this place out it has something for everyone!
Head straight down Highway 17 past Renfrew to experience YonderHill Campground !! We love it and so will you !

Next stop for this Daisy Train Band - The Heart & Crown in the Byward Market Ottawa Aug 13 & 14 , one of the craziest packed places we play.
Shoulder to shoulder non-stop party guaranteed.

July 10 2010
Sat morning it was back in the cars from Kingston and off for a four hour drive to Wasaga Beach where we played at the Stayner Arena. It was like doing a 360 from a small club to an arena show in less than 24 hrs. We loved every minute of it and as always Marty was there to save our butts in the sound dept. What would we do without the Sea Monkey OMG ! We love the Monkey!

Special thanks to all involved with organizing this big fund raising event for the Stayner Lions Club and bringing DaisyTrain to the Wasaga Beach area. Word has it that we are back there again at a different venue , details to follow.Plenty of friendly faces and the hospitality was huge in Stayner. We felt right at home, thanks again.

A packed dance floor all night and we had the makings of a great arena show! Kim and John had the honour of drawing the winning tickets for the Truck and the Big screen TV.
No matter where you go there are almost always familiar faces and it was awesome to see Tony and Patti all the way from Innisfil via motorcycle. Great to see you again and thank you so much for coming!

Next stop Yonder Hill Campground, Haley Station, Sat July 31 8pm. This is their annual long weekend summer outdoor party and the nice thing about this one is that it's a family show, an all ages party that excludes no one young or old.
We love Yonderhill come and find out why !!!

July 9 2010
Friday the start of our weekend road trip began in Kingston at Brandees. This is a classy little club that may be smaller in size but in terms of patrons and management they are big in heart! We had a great night complimented by a group of nurses dressed in little costumes ( see the photos ) dancing on our road cases and distracting us big time! It was a pleasant surprise to see Reg there all the way from Ottawa, Reg you are the best and we never know when and where you will show up but show up you always do, thanks Reg.

Apparently Tina's Purple Monkey went missing on Sat. night and we have since located him, seems he snuck off to go on tour with Daisy Train.

It goes without saying that The Lonestar is a great bar to play, the room was lively, fun & jammed packed and the dance floor was elbow room only from the first note on.. Special thanks to Debbie Burke for organizing her event, many thanks go to our fans who have become part of the Daisy Train family from Leah, Steve, Ruthann, Melissa, Gord, Tina, Sue, Clarisse and the list goes on! Thanks to Maureen & Joel, Kimberly & Dante, Luc from Uncensored, Tracy from TnT n Dfuse.

Of course Nikko from Lonestar and the rest of the employees are top notch and treated us well. Bruce & Marty gave that extra special effort to production that Daisy Train is proud to deliver and wouldn't do it otherwise. We also have to thank Scott from PSL for the lights, what a great addition to the show these were!

The Weather was not the best and we were worried that may affect the turn out... However, this did not stop the mass of people that came out to party with Daisy Train. We appreciate all of you who made the trek through the icy weather and we hope to see you out again.

Daisy Train heads up the 416 for New Years Eve to a new bar called CharlieWoods.
You can join the event here: FaceBook Event for Charliewoods New Years Eve
We hope to see you out to bring in 2010.

It has been a great year for Daisy Train from the start of 2009 with such memorable moments as heading to Northern Quebec to a small town called Temiscaming, to playing one of our favorite spots in Kingston called RAXX to playing for you at Little Texas in Belleville, to playing to a crowd of 6000 at The Navan Fair as the opening band for Nazareth , and who can forget playing on Parliament Hill!
Rocking out on Boxing Day at The Lonestar was a highlight and it just keeps getting better and we can assure you 2010 is going to be even better!

Dec. 14 2009

Lets start by saying that playing such a prestigious establishment as Parliament Hill certainly is an honour, from the R.C.M.P. who got us through the gates to the security who check us in through the metal detectors (first time we have had to do that at a gig). You were all extremely courteous, polite and helpful. Speaking of Security .... this is the reason why we were playing The Hill... it was the House Of Commons Security Services Christmas Party. These guys know how to party...What a great time had by all, the dance floor was packed and the band was sounding top notch thanks to our Soundman Marty.

The meals they supplied us were to die for. This was our 2nd time playing the Christmas party and both times certainly will be a memory that will stick with us all for a lifetime.

Thanks to John & Ruthanne Pollock for having Daisy Train perform for the second time. Thanks to everyone else who stayed on the dance floor from the minute we got on stage to the minute we stopped. As well thanks to Reeve for cranking the dance music between sets..

Speaking of good times don't forget our Boxing Day bash at The Lonestar ~
this will be the party of the year. guaranteed!

What an interesting night it was at PUB 31! Check out the photo album and you’ll see the crazy costumes and the shenanigans! The band was decked out in full 80’s gear , well almost all of us were. Look for Al O. our keyboard player to see his geeky get-up, we’ve never laughed so hard!

It was off to The Navan Fairgrounds one more time to help celebrate the tireless efforts
Of the people that make it all happen year after year … The Volunteers!
The celebration was fittingly held in one of the steel barns and was decorated to set the tone for the night... a good old fashioned barn dance. It would have been a cold night but the inside was heated perfectly to keep everyone comfortable.

Special thanks to Luc Bergeron and the organizers who helped to set the party up… We really appreciated the lunch and the hospitality!! We had a blast and these people proved once more that they are a first class organization! Make sure to take in the Navan Fair next year for all the fun anyone could want to experience in the country!
Since this was a private event there were a few photos taken but not what we usually post.

Oct. 11 2009

Absolute insanity would best describe two nights at OCP or O'Connor's Irish Pub. Both nights started off a little slow but by 11:00 pm the place was packed!
We saw everything from body surfing to flying light stands! Guess you had to be there !
Wiser's Company was there on Friday promoting their new line of whisky and Kim posed as the new Wiser Girl , see her photo .
A big thank you to the familiar faces that keep on coming out to our shows !

that price. We Love You Kingston and we will see you all soon.

Greenfields was the Hottest place to be on Saturday night bar none! Where else could you go and be surrounded by a room full of the sexiest school girls in Ottawa. It was our Back To School Party and so many beautiful women were there dressed up in their little plaid skirts and knee socks. Even the staff dressed up. Guess you had to be there to appreciate the scenery! But maybe not if you head over to our photo album and see for yourself.

As always the food at Greenfields is amazing and the staff know how to make you feel at home, not to mention the top notch P.A & Lighting in this room. A big thank you to everyone for an awesome experience. We had an amazing prize package of several gifts from
Beauty By Tracy Spa
, Greenfields, La Senza and Adult Fun Superstore.
Congrats to winner Christine Groulx we hope you enjoy your gifts.
It was so hard to choose from as they all looked so HOT.

It made for an interesting night and we are glad everyone got into the spirit and even if you were not dressed up the dance floor was packed from the first song to the last.

The rain was coming down Saturday morning, we thought this was going to be a bust, but, by mid afternoon, sure enough the sun came out and we were is fine shape to rock it out for the Rafters at Owl White Water Rafting Resort. After soundcheck we were treated to an awsome steak dinner. And then it was party time. The Owner warned us there was close to 400 people at the resort and sure enough they were all at the show. By far the biggest crowd we have seen in the three years of playing at the resort.
This crowd was ready to party. And we delivered. Check out the gallery and see if your in the pictures. And if your on Facebook you can look at our page and tag your photos. Just do a search of DaisyTrain on facebook and you will find us.
Special thanks to the staff at Owl Rafting the treatment is second to none.
We look forward to our return next summer.

Next show, Yonderhill Campground August 1st. This has been sold out for months. We look forward to our annual return, how can you go wrong, 400 of our closest friends parked in the wilderness for three days!

A few hundred people showed up for the Beacon 50 Live festival in South Stormont / Ingleside. It was an all ages show which we love doing since it gives the young people a chance to participate with a live band. The kids were rocking and rolling on stage in the third set with grins from ear to ear ! We think it's important to include our audiences in our shows and these kids were stars with their moves!

Special thanks to Kevin Amelotte the Coordinator of Events, Programs and Marketing for South Stormont... you did an awesome job on this special day, everything went according to plan and was very well organized! We had the opportunity to meet the opening band called "The Am Fm Band" these guys had been together for 24 years, a feat unheard of in this business. It showed as these guys were very tight and brought the sounds of the 50's & 60's alive.

It cannot go unsaid that our Sound Tech expert Marty Vaillant was a "Key" player in this event. As always Marty went above and beyond with everything from organizing the equipment for the stage to giving us the quality sound that we have come to appreciate every time this guy steps up to the board... Thank You Marty you are the best in the Biz and we appreciate you immensely !! The Daisy Train Band

Just like a scene out of the movie Rockstar as we walked passed security to get to our dressing room with deli trays a stocked cooler and dinner waiting for us. Not to mention the stage was so big you almost needed a ride to get from one side to another.. We were pleasantly surprised at how nicely set up they are in the beautiful town of Temiscaming Quebec. It was a nice drive up Friday with a stop in North Bay for the night then in the morning on to the venue. What a surprise it was to walk into an arena and see a stage that size!

We love Temiscaming and we look forward to our return. Special thanks to the organizers and the stage crew who really know how to throw an event! As well to the friendly people of Temiscaming who partied till the wee hours! One of the organizers noticed our slogan "We Do It All Night Long" and said "That's what we want" so party we did!

We are back from our little tour up north and we look forward to seeing you here in town at O’Connor’s this weekend…You know its going to be a party… sign up for the facebook event here

Check the gallery for pictures to see if your there.

We are heading out on the road to Temiscaming up in Northern Quebec, we are really looking forward to that show. It is a little far out of town for most but that doesnt mean we will not see some of our friends following us up there as we have seen before.

Our next in town show is at Oconnor's Jan 30, 31st and you know its a party there so we look forward to seeing you all out.

What a great way to enjoy the weather and beautiful scenery than to be playing just off the Ottawa River at Owl Rafting.
We love this place, not many venues tell you to come for dinner after your soundcheck and give you steak dinner and a cold beer on the house and then offer you a great breakfast in the morning. Classy place and an excellent courteous staff.
The crowds were ready to party and St Lawrence University students were in great shape after a day on the rapids. They packed the dance floor and had a great time...We love Owl Rafting and we look forward to our return next summer...
As always check out the Gallery to see if you are there!

Special thanks to Marty (a.k.a. Sea Monkey) for a fantastic job on the sound board.

I guess it is safe to say that we can call Yonderhill Campground a home away from home. This was our third year back there and of course we are back again next August long weekend. Tradition shall we call it!!!!

.It was good to see Todd & Yolanda and all the rest of the familiar faces from both the staff, seasonals and of course the Daisy Train fans. Nobody is as close a fan as Steve & Leah Brannigan. This was their second time out to Yonderhill when we played, and this time came with more close friends of Daisy Train. Ruthann & John Pollock. They all just fit right in now. Of course there are others we can't forget, Natalie G., Jaymz Hawley, Maureen & Joel Morghese, Stephan & Niko, Brenda, Luc, Nick, & Tristan - maybe someday we will jam together...Duane from Cheshire Grin . There are so many of you all that come out to each and every show. We love what we do and we love to see you all there.

Wow how can you beat partying it up in a club like RAXX in Kingston? A full house and even better a full dance floor all night made for an evening that went much too quickly! We love bringing the party to Kingston.

It was great to see familiar faces there once again. Frances you’re awesome, we really appreciate seeing you and your friends there. Hope you had fun on stage! James (McColl) it was great to see you out in the audience snapping photos and we look forward to seeing some of those as well!

As well special thanks to Chris White and Matt Hartwick from PartyinKingston.com for coming out to support the band. These guys are awesome!

Thank you to all of you that helped us entertain by either being on stage with the band or out in the audience singing along and dancing. There were a couple of birthdays being celebrated and we hope that we helped to create some memories.

Last but not least the staff and management of RAXX in Kingston are first class all the way and we truly do enjoy entertaining in your club and want to thank you. See you in October

July 19/ 2008
The band was rocking the rafters literally at Owl Rafting on Sat. night! We pulled in early set up camp and were then treated to a delicious steak dinner on the patio on the Ottawa River! Life is very good! Special thanks goes out to the staff and management of OWL Rafting Resort for treating the band like kings!

The dance floor was full and people managed to dance all night long even after all day outings on the river! We had the privilege of entertaining two awesome bachelorette parties with one of them being all the way from Sudbury. These girls were like watching the Dallas cowboy cheerleaders with their dance floor moves! Thanks ladies the pleasure was all ours !

To our cabin neighbors from Texas thanks for partying with us and putting up with our late night BBQ ! As well to Tracy, Wayne, Brad and John thanks for making the drive you guys are awesome!

As with any first time event the word of mouth can naturally take a little longer than event organizers would like, but that being said the First Annual RiverPalooza at The River Club in Portage Du Fort was a blast! The turn out was low probably due to heavy rain and other complications but the show went on. Half Cutt and Hyrd Gunz were there with us rockin the stage and what a stage it was! Thanks to Ted Howard for over seeing the building of such a large stage, lots of room to move!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ted Howard and the staff at the River Club for our accommodations; you really need to check this place out, beautifully decorated, clean rooms. The River Club is a class act.

Marty was the sound technician for this event and he did an all pro job helping to bring the best out of each act with his skills on the board. Thanks Marty as usual you go above and beyond !

To everyone that showed up from Ottawa to see the show a huge thank you for keeping the faith and waiting until the rain subsided! Thanks to Heather Overland for some of the great pics, we snagged them and added to our facebook group.
